Famous Design - This silver dollar design was created by Anthony De Francisci and features a modern "Art Deco" Liberty Head design with a beautiful crown of rays. On the reverse side of the Peace Dollar a valiant and majestic eagle stands at rest on a mountaintop clutching a laurel wreath in his talons, a symbol of America's desire for peace.

Very Limited Mintages - The Peace Silver Dollar was only minted occasionally from 1921 to 1928. It was then struck again a few years later, in 1934 and 1935. These genuine silver dollar coins were only issued by three United States Mints– Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco.

Due to the limited number of years of mintage and the lower mintage totals, Peace Silver Dollars have always been harder to collect compared to the better known Morgan Silver Dollars of the 1800's, which had extremely large mintages at seven mints.
