Official 2010 "Year of the Tiger"
Silver Coins Just Released!...

The Perth Mint has just released the first of the 2010 "Year of the Tiger" Silver Coins to the American Public. Minted as part of the Australian Silver Lunar Coin Series, these coins have limited worldwide mintages and a new design each year representing the ancient Chinese Lunar Calendar. The magnificent Silver Coins are struck in .999 fine silver and are now available in a range of Silver Bullion sizes.

The Lunar Series of Silver Coins
Individuals born in the Year of the Tiger include birth dates in 1938, 1950, 1974, 1986, 1998, and 2010. In Chinese tradition, Tigers are people considered to be courageous and natural leaders.

High Demand, Limited Supply
Austin Rare Coins & Bullion will offer Silver Year of the Tiger coins in 1 oz, 2 oz, 5 oz, 10 oz, and 1 Kilo sizes as they are available. With the excitement created by these beautiful coins and the increasing worldwide demand for silver for investment, the Perth Mint is working hard to overcome silver shortages. This could lead to supply limitations throughout 2010 so we recommend acquiring your Silver Tiger Coins immediately.

Magnificent Tiger Designs
The Perth Mint has created an exceptional design for the Year of the Tiger Silver series. An image of a Tiger, in his natural environment, is finely detailed on the reverse. The Chinese symbol for Tiger appears, along with the English inscription "Year of the Tiger." The "P" mint mark for the Perth Mint also appears.

The obverse of the coin features Queen Elizabeth II. The inscriptions read "Elizabeth II", "Australia", the date "2010", "999 Silver", and the weight and denomination of the coin. Each coin is recognized as official legal tender of Australia.

Due to their high Silver content, prices will change daily and these coins will increase in price with rising Silver prices in the years to come. Please call our Silver Coin specialist for the availability of other Silver Coin sizes.

Each coin has been carefully minted to the highest standards and then encapsulated in a protective acrylic capsule, at the mint to protect the delicate features and fine details of each coin. Newly minted issues like this are guaranteed to be in Gem Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

These are ideal gifts for anyone born in the “Year of the Tiger” and for those adding more silver to their portfolio – buy early before we’re sold out completely.
