We acquired a few of these during a recent estate liquidation and they are incredibly detailed given their date of issue and compared to those typically encountered.  

Each coin was struck in Mexico City, Mexico during the late 1700's while Mexico was still under Spanish rule. Spanish 8 Reales extensively circulated all across North America in the subsequent years and continued well into the 1800's, even after the US Mint opened around 1793.

Containing .785 oz of pure silver, these nearly 250-year old silver-dollar sized coins are very reasonably priced for their high quality and eye appeal. Each coin will come sealed in a hard plastic capsule for protection and has been handpicked for exceptional eye appeal.
