The American Eagles Gold Coin is among the most popular gold coins in the world. Issued by the US Mint, the Gold Eagle Coin contains 91.67 percent gold as required by law, 3% silver and 5.33% copper.

Gold Eagles are official U.S. Mint Gold Bullion Coins. The obverse features a modified Augustus Saint-Gaudens' design of Lady Liberty walking with flowing hair, originally used on US gold coins from 1907 through 1933. The reverse features the new "family of eagles" design by the Dallas artist, Mrs. Miley Busiek, that was created to symbolize unity and family tradition.
