If necessary, we are prepared to travel to inventory and appraise the items. We offer complimentary assessments of the items to determine the extent of services required. Normally, we can have a complete assessment back to you within a few business days. 

In addition to offering complete appraisal services, our firm is prepared to purchase the items in the appraisal. We are fully committed to providing the highest level of service and paying top dollar for your items.

Information you share with us about your items is strictly confidential. 

Here are some Do’s and Don’ts if you are the executor of an estate and need some points in the right direction:

Do:

    •  Have an idea of what the ultimate goal is, whether it be getting an appraisal for evaluation purposes or liquidation.
    •  Rest assured knowing that you will be taken care of in a professional and courteous manner.

Don’t:

    •  Contact a pawn shop or a “We Buy Gold” company as they will not pay you what your items are really worth.
    •  Spend hours and hours making lists or excel spreadsheets with every last detail. This can cost you a LOT of wasted time and we will compile a full inventory list for you, anyways.
    •  Worry---we have over 26 years of experience and we’re confident that we can help you accomplish your goals.
 

Once you contract with Austin Rare Coins and Bullion to appraise your items, we will charge by the hour for the inventory process and document production. Should you choose to sell the items through us, we will give you half of the appraisal fee back as a credit.
