What’s New?
Did you know that that first $10 gold coins were struck in the early 1800s--1838 to be exact--and are often referred to as “Eagles”? There are a handful of different Eagles that different types of collectors enjoy, but in today’s blog, we’d like to focus on our newest collection of $10 gold coins.
You can view those coins here, but the highlights are that we have a few $10 Indian Head coins that were minted in 1907. These are available to our customers in a couple of different grades, but one of the important things to know is that the coins we are offering ar from the first year of issue and do not carry the motto of “In God We Trust” on them. Struck in Denver, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, the coins don’t carry the aforementioned words because of President Roosevelt’s objection to utilizing the phrase on our money. This, of course, makes them a bit of a collector’s item.
They Are Truly Something Special
With low mintage numbers and a truly beautiful design that is sure to find a place in your collection and fit in perfectly, you can rest assured that these coins will make a great addition to any coin collection. Each of these coins contains .48375 ounces of pure gold, making them a thing to behold!
Also of note is that we have a few other $10 gold coins currently in our inventory. One of these is a Capped Bust from 1799 and the other is a Liberty Gold Head from 1895. Either of these coins are sure to become a treasured addition to your selection of rare coins as they help to round out your collection.
One look at these coins and we think you’ll agree that they are truly special in both their design and their condition. There has never been a better time to purchase these coins and we are certain that they won’t last for long. If you are interested, now is the time to buy! Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-928-6468 if you have any questions or need help. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
