MS-65 Peace Silver Dollars NGC/PCGS Certified

Each Peace Dollar was minted from .77344 troy oz of silver (about three quarters of an ounce.) Peace Dollars in pristine mint condition are far more highly valued by collectors for their state of preservation and rarity. The higher the grade on a scale of 1 to 70, the more valued they are today.

In God We TrVst Misspelled?

One unique feature on the Peace Dollar is the odd inscription of the motto in God We Trust, instead of using the Arabic spelling the designer De Francisci instead used the Latin version in which the letter V is substituted for U. This unique motto is just one of many details that set Peace Dollars apart from other coins produced by the United States Mint.
